I used Audacity as the software to record my podcast. I spent about two hours writing the script and recording my voice. I had a few technical difficulties during the recording process however, I was able to fix them. Compared to my first presentation, I believe this time went a lot smoother. I didn’t choose an interview style for this podcast and I believe I was able to finish the podcast faster and more efficient. I wish I was more familiar with the software so I would be able to add more qualities to make the podcast more entertaining such as music or pictures to go along with the audio.

    Hi Emily,
To improve your presentation, I would suggest adding more dialogue and personality to the podcast. I thought your presentation addressed all the requirements of the project very well and the link was easy to get to. The content of your podcast included background information, examples of your own improvements throughout the semester, and gave the listener a real idea of how this course has helped you grow as a student. You maintained a good tone of voice which kept me interested in the information throughout the podcast.

Wow, great job on this presentation! I liked that you chose to do an overview of English 110 and how it has helped you because I feel like most people chose to do their presentation over Big Data, so it was nice to hear about a different topic. I thought your presentation was really strong, as you made extremely good connections to the texts that we used, and your voice was very clear and understandable throughout the whole presentation. I really agree with what points you made and I felt the same way when entering this class, I think a lot of people will be able to relate to you! Overall, I really think you exceeded expectations, and can’t think of anything that you could do to make it better.
